Partners

To ensure the provision of innovative and socially engaged postgraduate training, Northern Bridge has strategic partnerships with a number of organisations within and beyond our regions which have public missions aligned with our own. Our partners play a central role in shaping the development of our consortium and in facilitating student-focused knowledge-transfer activities, offering placements and providing a range of specialist training outside our three universities. Our partners add value to students' research projects by providing access to collections and on-site training in resource discovery, study space, and expert supervision from professionals such as archivists, curators and archaeologists. In addition, they offer training in and opportunities for cultural resource management, creative practice, arts management, media engagement, exhibitions, performances and screenings, publication and other forms of dissemination.

Partners

Our partners are listed below and where available, there is a link to the research themes the organisation can offer to Northern Bridge students. Northern Bridge award-holders are invited to contact the named member of staff to discuss the possibility of a placement with our Partners.

Please note that if you are a prospective applicant interested in applying for a Partnership Award in the 2017 competition, please follow the instructions on our Partnership Awards page.
