Under the supervision of Professor Emma Cave and Dr Bows, her research investigates the UK Abortion legislation and the requirement of informed consent, arguing for the need for legal reform. In particular, she analyses women’s decision-making processes in the field of abortion and State’s duty associated with the guarantee of an accurate, truthful and flexible information process. The ultimate aim of this project is to outline a new legal model that highlights the central relevance of women’s authentic autonomy in decision-making processes concerning abortion.
