Alexandre Burin

My doctoral research explores the works of Nineteenth-Century French writer Jean Lorrain through the notions of fragmentation, performance and 'survivance'. It also constitutes a new way of looking at the fin-de-siècle and a contribution to the reading of cultural history through the use of modern theories.
